All ABOUT TAVACI
TavaCi is committed to the growth and development of children through music. We know...it sounds like serious business but it's actually fun! Each semester (Winter & Spring) we will have a weekly class preparing and culminating in our 2 yearly performances! Each week we will try to incorporate as much of the following in class: Stage Presence, Vocal Performance, Music Theory & Rhythm, Theatre and Choreographed Songs:
Stage Presence
Our definition of "Stage Presence" is to actually be comfortable with self in front of ANY audience! Our students know that to have Stage Presence means to display and use self-control that displays their individuality with ease!
Vocal Performance
Sing it right! Right from the heart! TavaCi directors teach correct vocal skills as well as projection, dictation, and clarity in speaking. Coveted skills for communication!
Rhythm & Theory
Rhythm is everywhere and EVERYONE loves a beat! We teach to listen, learn, and do! They'll also be taught basic music theory.
Theatre
Using FUN theatre curriculum, students discover how to use body language, facial expressions, spontaneous creative thinking, communication and many other life skills. Each class will learn and perform a mini-play. Any child that wants a part will be given one.
Choreographed Songs
Each of the classes will learn 1-3 choreographed songs per semester.
